Is 15 hours too long that my henna has been mixed with amla and water?
It's 70 degrees in my house. I mixed it at 4:30 a.m. and my hair appt is at 7:30 pm. So it's already been 11 hours, and will be 15 hours when it's applied. It is covered with plastic wrap in a bowl. I will be doing hendigo 1 step roots application. But I usually have it cure only 10-12 hours.

You should be fine as long as it's not longer than that! If you have to wait longer or you are concerned, just freeze it and let thaw for about an hour or two before application.

You can also throw henna in the fridge to slow down the dye release/demise too. It wont suspend it like freezing, but its good for it you have one of those "darnit, cant use it till tomorrow!" moments.

Henna will keep pretty well for a few days in the fridge, but don't let it go too long!
