I wanna use henna more for the benefits rather than the coloring pigment although i dont mind. could i mix it with aloe vera juice because of its acidic ph and i wanna know if i could add other powdered herbs?

Re: henna for benefits

Sure, you can add other plants or herbs to the henna. The more you add, the more it'll dilute the dye... but if you aren't too worried about color results, then no biggie. Just keep in mind that the effects are linked to the dye so the more you dilute it, the more the effects will be diluted too.

As far as the aloe... I don't have an answer for that one. I would guess so, but I don't know if you'll want to. Some things you just don't wanna mix with henna... for example, pineapple juice is acidic, but it doesn't play well with henna.

Thanks im surprised how fast i got a response lol. I will just have to experiment with the aloe vera to see how my hair will feel after. However since i want the benefits ill stick to using henna as is and do a herbal rinse after. Thanks again
