Ancient Sunrise Henna

I recently had my blonde hair chemically dyed red.  I love it.  The problem is that it is fading fast.  After five weeks, it has bleached out so much.  I would like to try Henna.  I have never done this before.  I don't know which one to use.  I thought perhaps the Ancient Sunrise Henna would be good for me.  Can anyone give my a suggestion?  Can I safely Henna over chemically dyed hair?

Thanks, Susie

Re: Ancient Sunrise Henna

Henna is safe for chemically dyed hair.

Ancient sunrise may very well be a good choice for you.

It takes about 100 g (one packet of henna) to dye hair that is ear to shoulder length. Past your shoulders you'll need a second. An ancient sunrise kit: Red, has two packets. If you don't need them both, you can save the second one for next time!

Henna, especially when mixed with a little lemon juice, is permanent so you won't see all that fading. THat also means that you don't have to dye ALL your hair every time. You can just touch up the new root growth.
