Perm after henna/indigo?

It's been FOREVER since I've gotten a perm of any kind in my hair (80's, spiral perm - ha!)

But my hair is SOOOOO flat, I'm tempted to look into getting one just to give it some body and help it hold some curl/style.

Has anyone gotten a perm after using henna/indigo for a couple of years?

With pure henna and indigo you wouldnt have to worry about odd reactions, though strand testing and waiting at least 24 hours after you perm is still recommended, just to be safe.

 

Given that your hair wont hold a curl on its own, even with styling products, it may not hold a perm. And it probably wont give it body, just damage your hair (no more than it normally would, mind you).
